OBS Game capture not working? Suggestions?

Just curious if anyone else streams and got game capture to work? I have zero problems using game capture on almost 40 games installed "which is like all of them", but for some reason this game is just a black screen with sound. I tried display capture and still black. Tried windowed mode, game capture still black. Finally, I got it to work by display capture, windowed mode; Which most should know is very laggy. I have tried compatibility modes on OBS and Admin. Made sure no other software was capturing. Only way is display cap, windowed mode. Really would like a fix if someone has one. Thanks.

P.S. Using OBS Studio. Not sure the version. Fresh install from 3 weeks ago.

You should set it to borderless windowed mode, that should make it work. To activate this function, make sure the game is closed, then right-click on the game in your Steam library, select ‘properties’, click on ‘set launch options’ and type in: /borderless

When you start the game next time it will be set to borderless windowed mode.

I did everything you asked and even then I did not open my game.

Running the game in Windowed mode and using Window capture within OBS is the only way I currently know that can capture the game.

I just had time to try. This works. Easy as cake. Never had to use Window capture on a game before but this does work. Increased my performance by 100%. Much better. Thanks
