Pls help me

After i have downloaded the game. I cant launch it, when i launch it the launcher just closes and the game synchs and nothing happens. Searched it on google found a steam discussion posted by EW stefan one of the devs. When i searched the game's folder i found that one of the files on the bottom said (error winsdk file is missing please reinstall program) what do i do the discussion that the devs posted gave links and when i try to download the winsdk file it just took forever and never seem to progress until this pops up and also it uses microsoft
Action:DDESIR uninstall (i kinda forgot the rest) and when i try to click cancel it does not work and it just blocks my screen

Opened fhe hunter call of the wild website. Clicked technical issues and theres more links to fixing problems what do i do. I dont really understand the internet very well please help

i have uninstaled the redist files and when i tried to reinstall it back it didnt work

OP, so excuse me but i didn't read the entire post here, but did anyone mention that if it took you three days to download the game, that it is most likely timing out before the game connects?

Just try to verify game cache, this shouldn't take 3 days. That is all I got, I tried

WELL IT SAIDThe program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing
Problem
When you start SmartFTP you get the following error message:
The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.
The problem is that the KB2999226 (Universal CRT) which is part of the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 failed to install.
Solution
Install Windows Updates:
Go to Start - Control Panel - Windows Update
Check for updates
Install all available updates.
After the updates are installed, restart your computer.
After the restart repeat the steps above again until no more updates are available.

Download the Visual C++ Redistributable:

For Windows 64-bit
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 (64-bit)
For Windows 32-bit
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017 (32-bit)

Run the vc_redist.x64.exe (64-bit) or vc_redist.x86.exe (32-bit) and select Uninstall
Run the .exe again and select Install

well i got confused by this
