Highest trophy rating for Red Deer so far in game ?
Not the 900+ score you see. Poo on the other bloated smelly stuff they added to get a score. What is the highest trophy rating you have ? Mine is a 252. I just would like to see what the highest is in the game at this moment.

mine was 180 for red deer, but my highest one was a roosewelt with 306

Your 252 would have been a Diamond, I'll bet. You should have let it go and come back another day (maybe) ... yeah right.

EDIT : ... Note shot placement. Try to shoot them behind the Scapula into the spine instead of the neck. Neck shots can lead to disasters.

It was stuck in a tree and I said to HE double hockey sticks and took the shot. :)

EDIT : I did get it while I was having chashing issues with the game thats what prolly made me take the poor shot most of all.

I'm with you on that note as well. I sometimes carry a lever-action rifle (45-70) for moments of frustration and I just go "postal" on the animal ... :(

8-Mythical gold rating. Trophy Score 214. Shot on top of Red Deer Hill. Good news was I also got a Trophy Score 191 red deer, at the same place, within 3 mins. of the first. That meaans I can add them together, Right? We'll call it the 3 minute rule.

Hmm, ok, it's Ihutch142's thread, so if he says ok, ok .... but, it's understood that killing the 214 first, made the 191 happy because you removed his competition, and 191 was trying to kiss you with love, only to be gunned down in the process ... ;)

@ lhutch142 .... Hey, I forgot to ask you whether or not you have the 3rd level of the skill Spotting Knowledge, where you can see the trophy range [in brackets] when spotting a 9-Red Deer. The maximum number shown for that range should tell us what's possible for the highest trophy score.

From what I've seen, that trophy range seems to be the envelope for the RNG to spit out a trophy number. For example, when spotting shows :

4 - White Tail, Male
Trophy [106 - 159]

To get a GOLD medal, the trophy has to be at least 127. That basically means the player has about a 60% chance to roll a GOLD if the all bonus' are 100%. A diamond score on that example isn't possible because the best score would only be 874, diamonds need to be at or above 900. To get a diamond on a White Tail, the highest trophy range number needs to be at least 170. If you see a White Tail (level 5+ ???) with a max trophy range exceeding 170, well, better have the right gun class to get the diamond ... and may the "RNG Force" be with you, young padawan.

@ CellNav you only need lvl 2 spotting to see the trophy rating. And yes I have lvl 3.

I don't pay much attention to a lot of the things in the game. My gaming has been turned in to just relaxing and let time pass. That's why I don't care how they score nimals. irl the only thing that matters in hunting is the score of the antlers not all the hog wash they put in this game which should be removed.
