That being said, I don't think I've ever seen a black bear feed need zone, only sleep need zones. And those look pretty similar to the rest of them, a circle of matted grasses.
And i don't know, I'm not on the development team. I'd think a 'blackberry patch' sort of feed zone would make more sense than a dead fawn feeding zone.
Berry patch does make sense, or the ability to put food (sweets) in trash barrel, and wait for bear to approach.
This is a my 2011 IRL Bear with grass stains on its face...shot (7mm mag) it at 60 yards while eating grass.

As a fun related fact, bear meat taken in the late fall is sweet and clean due to the berries and plant matter they've been eating, while late spring bear meat is greasy and gamey due to the winter kill carrion and live kills they've been feeding on.
Although I am aware tthat bear will eat meat if hungry enough, I don't remember ever hearing about this happening in my lifetime (60 ish) years.
