"travel to hopes camp and harvest a black bear from a ground blind at night".......I harvested a black bear at 20.44 hrs from a ground blind inside the specified area and it didn't complete the mission.....so I'm assuming it has to be a specific bear.....any ideas...or is it glitched ?

I'm pretty sure it has to be from one that is in the game, not one you purchased. Not sure if this is the case or not. But thought I'd mention.

Ok thanks RamMack....unfortunately i had a groundblind in my backpack when i accepted the mission......so now i have two......both called exactly the same......no idea which one is the mission one.....I have deployed both and I guess I'll have to try both out.....and see if that works

No, I believe the ground blind you have to pay to build. The wooden structures, some are stands, and some are blinds.

Ahhhhhh....ok......i'll try that..........Yup the structure in Hopes camp is a ground blind costs 1700 to build rather than 2100 that the stands cost....now to wait for the Bear......thanks for all the help RamMack

did anyone find the bear? i dont even see tracks in the camp,i tried day / night?

I had problems with this one too..... RamMack cleared up the fact that you have to build the stand in Hopes camp.....I completed this at 20.00hrs.....I was so bored I was using the binos to spot a deer that was calling in the distance.... and I saw a bear spawn in next to the deer....took a long shot on the bear and waited for the "agressive bear" to charge.....I don't know if the deer is actually part of the mission but it certainly made me look in the right direction....

Doesn't "night" time start at 9PM and end at 5AM?

Thanks for reply, i will try after 2 am, i do heve predator caller and did use it, but did not hear or see any bear / tracks in that area ever, from what direction did it appear for you guys?
Night time is from 7pm. Did you guys sit in ground blind all the time or did you walk perimeter and call bear in and then jump into blind?

Are you using the ingame ground blind,or the one you purchased with the tents? Only the ingame one will work.
