Online Match Opponents - Not Moving

This is the 3rd time that this has happened:

I will have the system to match me with another online player [Not Timed] and I will play as black. However, the opponent will not move. Is this intentional to force me to resign or is there a glitch with online play for Chess Ultra?

I know! I initiated a game on Saturday. My opponent, playing as white, has yet to make their opening move. jaybee545, where are you?

A full week has now gone by and there's no sign of life from jaybee545. This match is taking up one of my six match slots. If I resign I lose points. What am I supposed to do?

I run into this when I try to start multiple online matches so I don't have to wait long, but I noticed by doing that, others might accept and have to wait. Now I just start one match and wait.

I've had this happen a few times regardless of whether I was W or B and I haven't lost any points when I quit the session. I am annoyed that it says I have 'lost' when there was no gameplay but in either case it simply acknowledges that 0 or 1 move(s) took place.

Quit just takes you back to the main menu, and the match continues. I just resigned from that match I mentioned, and lost a few points. It doesn't really matter. Hopefully jaybee45 will never load the game up again and waste our time.

What I have noticed is that when I try online match, I almost instantly get a match, they then don't move, I have to quite and after that it seems I don't get matched easily anymore ><

This is what I was afraid of. I don't have the game yet but its precisely the kind of thing which stops me from buying online chess games. The fking trolls/ bad losers. When they see they are about to lose, or for example they lose a queen/rook and just say "fk this guy, leave the match pending ad infinitum like that I'll win haha" .

Its always the same damn story in every online chess game, I was hoping for once they would have a system that deals with this kind of behavior.

Of all the online chess I play, I must say Chess Ultra seems to be the one place where I don't notice a lot of cheating. I think the CU community might be a bit less hardcore about their online elo. Pride is the mind-killer.

So.. this dude beat me 2 games so far.. i resign when I feel the game is over..

Now I got him.. 54 turns in of hard fought battle.. And it is over.. Few more turns but it's done.. And after 54 turns he just stop playing when he is clearly losing this match.

And there is nothing I can do..

It really doesn't matter, once your opponent knows you beat him/her, you have won :)
Elo means nothing. They could be using a chess engine and you would never know.

I cou8ldn't stop laughing dude hahah. I'm thinking of buying this game but is it very dead. I'm not very good and I play on chess.com right now. But if i can't find players or only players that will demolish me maybe its not worth it?

are you guys playing 5 mins blitz? Would that solve the problem of sore losers like this?
