Is this the best chess game on Steam?

I have seen a couple of negative revies but mostly positive.

It's a good chess game but I wouldn't say it's the best on Steam bar none by any means.

Immersion Chess is free with an advanced AI available for less than $2 as an addon which easily rivals/beats the AI in this game.

This game has more varied environments and pieces and some puzzles.

I also like Magician's Gambit for single player chess with good graphics. I got it on a different store for VR and don't know if it's on Steam.

Ultimately, you will find the *best* games of chess against real people similar to your own skill level at a moment's notice for free using a search engine like Google. I'd get specific but they'll delete my post.

This game is a solid choice for a good looking game of chess. "Best" depends what you're after. I am after a bit more than looks when it comes to a thousand year old strategy game, myself.

I don't regret buying this game but it's not my best purchase ever, either.
