What about one 2-D board option? Maybe Gomorrah-style would be cool, too.

Well, I'm afraid I am going to sound whiney here. Those checker pieces aren't working too well -- the symbols are facing you upside down. I think unless you're dyslexic, it's confusing & annoying. Perhaps if the chess symbols could face you the right way, then okay. I still like my 2-D Gomorrah chess set idea. I'd even buy it for a few bucks.

Hmm ok that's an interesting thought. I wonder if anyone else has any preferences on the position of checkers whilst top down, will start a discussion to see what everyone thinks :)

I didnt like it but I want 2D Board with 2D Chess where you seen in chess.com

I did well to beat Challanger and now on the Expert mode(it is quite challanging :-) )

The checkers set were designed to be used with the top-down camera angle. The screenshot shows them being used with the standard camera angle, so they're hard to see. Press 'C' on the keyboard to change the angle :)

Tempted by this game but waiting to see first if a decent 2D set is included. For me, the nicest 2D set is the Burnett set: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:SVG_chess_pieces

Because I can't get a good camera angle on the 3-D, I've been using the checker pieces, but the same issue persists: If the chess pieces are faced the opposite direction, it's very tough to see. So yes, I am on the same page with keenrw above -- I think they should face the right way, or there's no point in playing.

I bought the game on switch years ago but don't see me playing it because of the lack of 2D chess option. And - as some said: The checkers aren't playable because of facing upside down.
3D looks brilliant but there's no camera angel that I like. So: Two things to get fixed easy without lots of development (camera angel, 2D set of figures) but still they are not after all the years. Kind of sad.
