Exactly. Maybe they were thinking they didn't want a potentially toxic chat to intrude on other players' experience with the game. But a chat feature is just too important to leave out. Even just having preset responses would be better than nothing.
Hope that helps understand their reasoning at least a little.
I figured it was something like that, but that's a poor excuse for any online multiplayer game in 2017. I'm happy with there not being voice chat, that's totally understandable. But text chat is silent. And if reading bothers people too much, they could make an option to disable text chat.
That's a very good point and another issue I have with this game. lol
Nice. What about a multiplayer lobby and chat features? Any future plans?
