End game?

Has anyone actually finished the career mode? Is there an end? Just curious

I certainly hope there's an end. The levels are getting so difficult now (just finished Caesaria) that it's driving me mad. Plus I'm spending far too many of my waking hours in pursuit of glory. I'll be glad when it's over!

Yes, there is an end. Each time you complete an assignment, you are promoted to a higher rank. You can see the different ranks by clicking on the Imperial Advisor and clicking on the button that states your salary under your current rank. Each of the different ranks is listed along with its salary. (Boosting your salary irritates the emperor, so it isn't advised unless you know you're about to be promoted and and can take the hit on your Favor rating or you've got Favor to burn). The final rank is Caesar. I can't remember if you play as Caesar or career mode ends when you are promoted to Caesar, but either way, you will eventually arrive at the pinnacle of your career (and start over like I do--I'm addicted!)
