WipEout Omega Collection

What did you think of the WipEout Omega Collection? I saw the trailer and it will be released in
2017 for PS4!

Would've been an insta-buy for me if it got a PC release... As it stands, I don't have a PS4 (or any other current console!). :(

It's just a re-release of the Wipeout HD/Fury and 2048. Not exactly a 'collection' if you ask me.

♥♥♥♥ anything that is exclusives. ps can go suck a dong with wipeout. I played it for 30 minutes at bros house on ps3 when it was released back years ago, i hated it, racing pods where speedometer says 700 km/h and the "sense" of speed feels like you drive max 70s. also terrible controls and small tracks. F-zero was far better and that game that came out recently as an exclusive for nintendo console. i dont remember the name though

otherwise it's WOHD with slightly better textures, and WOHD doesn't even look too shabby today anyway

Excited to finally get to play Wipeout 2048 but I could care less about the HD/Fury remaster, I played enough of them on PS3 already.

same here.. for pc it would be an insta-buy, but its coming out on ps4 only it seems.. i don't own an ps4 and don't intent to buy one -.- well redout is all i need for now :D

formula fusion is good but i hope it gets even better. I was always rollcage guy, opposite of wipeout. now im Redout and GRIP fan

THIS! I LOVED Rollcage as it was something original and cool and ♥♥♥♥ would always hit the fan when you unlocked and raced against Yuri. Also the some songs and the OST itself was hand picked by Fatboy Slim if im not mistaken.

GRIP looks totally bananas, and the devs are cool guys. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks dangerously promising.

well.. i tried out formula fusion and while it has potential, its not even close to as great as redout. i know that ff is still in alpha, but despite that from what is already in the game, it might be a good game but it will never even come close to the quality that redout has (though i would love to be proved wrong about that)

grip.. grip is also promising and after its finished i will rebuy it :D (same goes for formula fusion most likely lol xD)

though i can't imagine that i'll like one of those 2 games as much as redout.. redout turned out to be an incredible and spectacular gem to me personally :D would love to see more content for redout, a longer career with reverse tracks and a space theme with space-tracks like those old f-zero games had :D (if i remember correctly, the last f-zero i played was GX on the gamecube)

Yep, F-Zero GX had a couple of space-themed tracks- Cosmo Terminal Trident and Outer Space Meteor Stream; both were awesome.

why did you take grip off? too much to "handle?" XD

grip physics gotten so much better if thats the problem.. btw we still keep find stuff as community to work and help with so you should really check our discord or https://cagedelement.com/forum/
