Game Hangs On JC4 Title Screen After Patch

Constant crashes before the patch today but I could at least play for a few minutes. After patch today, game will not load past JC4 screen with lightning. Also there is no sound.

Anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

your lucky I cant even get past the "this titles uses an auto save feature"....
I mean, It's a great looking text page but I expected more from a £40 title if i'm honest.
I can't see me playing it for long...it gets dull quickly

Me too exactly the same... Getting fed up with this having spent actual money, I was rather hoping for much more than a frozen warning about photosensitive seizures... SQUARE ENIX - SORT THIS OUT NOW... If your answer is well there only seems to be 2 people with this issue then I DON'T CARE - that's still 2 too many...

My exact problem i was able to figure a way past the photo sensitive screen(file verify) then it just was stuck on a soundless jc4 lighting loading screen. Super annoyed for a 40 dollar game. Why are only some people having it. Weird!! FIX GAME AVALANCHE!!!

Me too i just see the werning aboute just cause and afater 2 min thats crashing

I also have this problem. The way I fixed it is to reinstalling nVidia graphics drivers and then start the game. The problem unfortunately returns after a reboot.

I have fixed it this way 3 times now! I did not have the problem before the patch was issued.

Problem is now fixed for me with February patch.
