Just bought the game played about an hour and a half and so far it seems like a major downgrade from Jc3. I know this is repeated quite often throughout these forums but my main question is im curious if there is big things to blow up like in jc3. In jc3 you had those giant balls that would explode as well as those mining rigs that would cause huge explosions and fall apart. Is there anything like that in jc4? So far haven't seen anything other than fuel tanks that explode and its pretty disappointing if that's all there really is.

I have not started 4 yet but I had quite a few people tell me while its not as big as 3, its the better game. I would give it a shot.

if u still havent decided what to do just watch the youtube video comparison between JC3 and JC4 from "Nick930" this game is a huge downgrade in so many things compared to JC3 and from what i keep reading it must run pretty bad even till today... not sure how the game ran for u in ur short play time. And to what prizim said... thats one of the most stupid things ive ever read

Everyone here saying it's an awful downgrade is on crack, 4 is 100% the most fun

I just started playing it. To be honest so far im disappointing in the game compared to JC3 and JC2 it's not bad but I had more fun right away with those 2. The biggest reason is I think is because before you had a completion % to blowing stuff up in an area. While blowing things up is important to advance. I liked how that % tied to the destruction and not completion of trials. Then it doesn't help even on a 4090 I get frame skips once in awhile

Well compared to JC3 it was having its staled jokes not delivered and gameplay feel sluggish, but then JC4 had a whole lot of new toys to play with, depending on how long you would be playing, JC4 could be sub par compare to JC3, but it is still fun at most time.

The biggest problem is the game starts very slowly, unlike JC3, JC4 had most of its previously introduced features be locked behind progress like 3-4 area before you could be getting actually some good stuff to play with, and the first few area missions be quite boring, it needs to be patience to grind up before actual gameplay opens up.
