For people having stuttering issues
I tried playing this game since I loved JC3, but was met with horrible stutters when in any fighting situations. Especially around the frontline near the first base with the breakers. The game would constantly drop from 165 to 60, then right back, making it unplayable. I'm running a 13700K with a 4070Ti on windows 11, so hardware wasnt the problem. After searching online for hours and trying dozens of troubleshooting steps, I believe I found the solution for these stutters. When you start the game, go into task manager, go to details and go to justcause4.exe. When you right-click and go to set affinity, for people with 12th to 14th gen cpus, only your P-Cores should be ticked. Make sure to tick the option at the top called "All processors" and press yes to change. Normally, the stutters should go away. Since making that change, ive been standing at the spot where I was getting the stutters for a good hour and haven't even had a little stutter. I also locked the framerate to 120FPS. I've only been testing for an hour, so ill report back again in a few hours to confirm if it has permanently fixed the issue for me.

Yo, tried out your method and I've went from stutters every time I was on the front line to very little. I'm going to restart the game to see if resetting it makes a difference. Thanks man. The constant lag was annoying me.

why is this a thing ? i have the 14700k and just clicked "All processors" and the freezing/stuttering went away. Do people do this for all games ?

Edit: I just checked "Ready or not" and Elden Ring , these have all processors checked. did me changing that for just cause change it for everything ?

Edit 2: I see every time you load just cause 4 you gotta set all cores again so my question under the first edit wouldn't be happening. Changing one game doesn't impact others

GUYS I fixed it!!
I listend to someone here and tried to turn off the leaderboard option on settings > Gameplay > show none and it fixed!!
if it's not try the combo of run as administration and priority to high and CPU Affinity all CPU but the main issue is the leaderboard thing just turn this thing off and it will be run much better by far

Omg thank you so much I have been trying to find a solution for so long. I gave up in December last year but after trying this my game has gone from unplayable to smooth as butter. Thank you!
