Fix for random Crash/ Freeze!

I tried everything and found one person who said that he had fixed his crashing issue by updating to Windows 11. Well sure enough, the game hasn't crashed since I've updated to Windows 11. Ya I know its a strange and difficult fix but its a fix. Windows 11 isn't that bad once you get use to it.

Anyone got a decent fix for the random freezes? On an updated W11 machine, all drivers up to date! Tried the internet disconnecting, CPU priority to High, CPU affinity to all, started as Administrator, on compatibility mode W7/W8.... nothing, still freezes!

On Just Cause 3 I had to have vsync on or it would crash within 30 seconds every time. Set settings to lowest and then slowly add them back and see if it is a video setting causing it or the steam overlay. I am installing JC4 now so I will see if I also get this problem.

i had freezes constantly, disabling the leaderboard thing on the right (the "feat" thing) fixed it for me. Every time it tries to load the leaderboard something goes wrong and it causes a stutter or freeze.

Completely delete all drivers in safe mode via DDU and reinstall them
