How To transfer / migrate save game from EPIC to STEAM

My son and I put hours into the Freebie from EPIC, and with the sale it is cheaper to buy the entire Complete/Gold pack than just the DLC from EPIC.

To transfer your save games from one platform to another simply copy the files from one location to the next. The only thing that didn't seem to come across was the number of pilots you have, I assume we need to unlock them again. No big deal, everything else is unlocked.

NOTE: I've only done this for my son so far, waiting for mine to download while we go out.

We launched the game from Steam once, to make sure the user folder was created.
Exited out.
Opened the EPIC data folder, hit CTRL-A and CTRL-C to select all, and Copy.
Browse to the STEAM userdata folder below and copied the file in
Restart STEAM and watch a multitude of Achievements come up as the game loads.

EPIC is usually saved in C:\Users\<username>\OneDrive\Documents\Epic Games\Square Enix\Just Cause 4

STEAM is usually saved in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user-id>\517630\remote\

thanks, but this is not the same game , maybe you linked the wrong you tube... Different game, different save file location, which I have written it out, so it is easily searchable.

this did not work for me. i bought the ultimate edition on sale on steam and uninstalled just cause in the epic games launcher. and I tried your method with copying the files but, it did not work. any recommendations?
