How do i adjust the brightness?

once the game goes to night or you go to a dark part in the game you cant see ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is there a way to up the brightness? theres nothing in the games settings

There is both a brightness and gamma setting in the settings file, but sadly, updating them there has no effect. Like the texture settings (see pinned topic), I've concluded the settings are completely FUBAR for this game. I think we need to wait for a patch.

with the settitngs problem people are having you need to navigate the menus with WASD not the mouse im running max settings at 1080p and over 60 fps with no problem with a gtx 1060 6gb

I can't find the brightness setting either. I won't swear at everybody trying to help me, or act in general like a dork with a flaming rod up his wazoo. Promise.

you think im being a ♥♥♥♥ on purpose im not its common sense to try the monitor brightness you shouldnt even tell someone to try that i was asking for an in game brightness setting or how to
turn up brightness within game files
