Fixing it so that you don't lose a whole boost after a tap? Yeah, I can see how that would be good for people who keep making that mistake. For me, I figured it out pretty quickly and stopped wasting my boost. I hate the new system with a passion. It's stupid.
I'm fairly sure that now it has way more boost in total and you're not penalised by losing a charge when tapping boost. A couple of people are overblowing a change that makes it behave more like the bavarium wingsuit - I'll take a guess that they haven't played JC3 Sky Fortress and so have no reference.
By this I mean it needs to recharge other boosts while u are using it. If we pay money for a DLC, it should provide something extra, and the upgraded wingsuit just doesn't cut it any more.
I also may be a little used to the way it was before the update.
Now, if I sustain the boost until all the boost is gone, I have to wait about 30 seconds before boosting again. During that time, I will be slowing down and losing altitutde.
I can do very short bursts: burst, wait a couple seconds, burst again ... but there's hardly any speed.
No. This is definitely a NERF and a really, really bad and unnecessary nerf. I honestly can see this as positive.
But then what do I care, I stopped playing it long before this update anyway.
