Why did you nerf the skystriker powered wingsuit?
I really want to know.

Before patch:
I had 3 booster charges. After using 1 boost, I could start a 2nd boost while the 1st recharched.

Now:
When I start the 2nd boost, instead of allowing me to boost while the first boost recharges, it simply continues to drain my boost without stopping. This means that I cannot stay in boosted flight as long.

LISTEN:
Flying the powered wingsuit is FUN. Why would you take that away?

When I think of ALL the things people have been asking you to fix in the last five weeks since launch, and then you "fix" something that not only was not broken, you actively make it less fun ... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! What the ♥♥♥♥ are you guys even thinking?

I'm just glad it doesn't drain the entire bar if I tap the boost now, cause I tend to do that a lot.

It now works the way the bavarium wingsuit worked in JC3. Now you don't lose an entire bar if you tap boost. You have more usable boost now than you did before.

I still hate it. With three bars, I could sustain powered flight almost all the time. Now, I might as well not even have three bars. What's the point of three boosts if it takes 3x as long to recharge?

It's just because the usability of the powered wingsuit in JC3 or in fact JC4 hasn't ever been about just holding down boost, but adding manoeuvrability and a temporary escape route. It enables you to do vertical barrel roll attacks, for example, if you're in trouble.

Even before the patch there wasn't that much boost. It seems like there's way more now, and best of all, tapping AR when you're holding down boost doesn't lose you an entire charge. But post patch you get the kind of manoeuvrability you have in JC3, where the initial tap on the boost gives more power than sustaining the boost and you can use it for low speed maouevering. So multiple quick taps in a row can get you over a building, avoid running into a cliff face, etc. Which is really helpful when grappling sucks in this one, or because the air brakes are utter balls.

Probably the changes to the recharge speed have to do with there being way more actual boost than there was in JC3, and the fact that the boost seems to take longer to run out than it did before they changed it in JC4.

That's a very well-thought-out and well-explained reply. I didn't use the wingsuit for maneuvering much, mostly straight flight. Maybe that's why I didn't notice the change in maneuverability. I'll have to check it out.

I am personally unhappy with the nerf to the UPGRADED wingsuit as it now takes to long to fully recharge. I agree that the way the boost is used up is good, but I reckon the upgraded one needs to do more.

By this I mean it needs to recharge other boosts while u are using it. If we pay money for a DLC, it should provide something extra, and the upgraded wingsuit just doesn't cut it any more.

I also may be a little used to the way it was before the update.
