Flashing, flickering and sparkling?
All of my settings are maxed, running at a clean 60fps with no dips. My PC can handle anything this game throws at it, but I'm having crazy lighting issues. In the intro mission alone, Rico's hair looks like it's made of static electricity. Tons of moving while particles all over it. Now that I'm in the jungle, the hair is very slightly better, but now the shoulders of his jacket have a flickering white film over them.

I usually don't complain about graphics. I can deal with bad cutscenes, inanimate water and muddy blurry textures, but these flickering lights all over the damn place are distracting and annoying. I'm having trouble focusing on the game when things are flashing all over the place. Does anyone have a fix for this, or is it a legitimate bug?

Ok, so it isn't just me. I thought so, just wanted to be sure there wasn't some secret setting I was missing or something. Guess I'll wait to hear about a patch then. It's a shame, I really was looking forward to playing this tonight.

If you have an Nvidia card they released a new driver for the game, try it and see if it fixes the problem.

Right you are. Seems like I had it downloaded, just haven't started the install. I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, no. It's not the snow. I can see the snow, and it continues into the jungle as I said. The snow looks completely different from what I'm experiencing.

Also, the new drivers didn't do anything for me either. So I guess it is a bug with the game itself. Oh well.

running everything maxed in sli here on two nvidia 1070's 8th gen i7 intel 32 gig ram @ 3400 speeds. This game runs smooth as butter no graphical issues loading issues whatsoever

Apparently the game doesn't save for me either. I was into the jungle area, restarted my game to do some testing and now I'm back at the start of the intro mission. Super cool.

Here is a quick video to demonstrate. I can't show the jacket glitch because that was only in the jungle and I have to get back there first. It persists indefinitely and is insanely distracting.

At last someone with SLI who could answer my question... So, is SLI used in this game?
Do you have a nice 90%+ load on both GPU's?

Thank you.
