At least with the Vive controllers, you can point roughly to the direction of the "PAUSE" button (no laser visible) until the button backgound is turning yellow, then use trigger to activate.

No idea if this works with rift/touch similar.

You need to aim precisely to the pause button since the pointer was deleted in the latest update.

Pointer should be back, or maybe dev should find a different method to pause the song easily.

Same problem here too, rift & touch.
ust had to sit through a 8 minute song until it finished!
No matter how precicely I tried to I could hit the pause button.
Definitely need the pointer back.

Just bought the game in the summer sale, to play with my rift, and was surprised at the lack of control during a song. I can't find any way to pause the song, access the in-game menu, change volume, etc. About all I can do is use either the SteamVR or Oculus menus to exit the game. Can't even change the volume using the Oculus menu without the song continuing to play.

I've tried clicking around everywhere where the laser would be on the pause but I still can't pause using Oculus Touch. Please can we get a fix to this?

I am having a similar problem - I love the game and making my own challenges but if you mess up or otherwise need to stop a recording you cant as the laser pointers just point straight forward from the gloves while recording.

you need to rotate your hand down when trying to select pause. The pointer (invisible during song playback) is pointing up from your hand in the direction that vive wands are. Just imagine the pointer is shooting vertically from your thumb's nail, so rotate your hand with the nail facing the pause button and you'll see it highlight. Do this a few times it will be second nature to you.

Indeed it is difficult to aim the pause but it is possible.
I have Touch, it works. Try aiming way higher then go down until the pause button flashes.

This continues to frustrate me. Couldn't a function be added where tapping in the touch wheel or the menu button pauses the song? Last I checked they're not really being used for anything there.
