Game is mostly frustrating

I want to like it, but I spend half the time combattin controls and trying to your car back.
Towing my Satsuma to the shop, only to have all the fenders fall off because it keeps colliding with the vehicle im pulling it with. Get to the shop, take the rental car to get to town but end up dying, that's my bad ofcourse.

Taking my van to retrieve the Ferndale, but it cant pull it so use the Ferndale to take the van back to the repair shop, do my thing at the shop because it was closed last time, put the van behind the tractor to pull it home, if you leave the rope to long it swerves all over the place, too short and it hits the wheels causing you to flip/fly through the air etc so I leave the van halfway and drive home in the tractor.

Next day take out the truck, in a blind turn get ran off the road by the green car, stuck in a ditch, spend an hour trying to get it out but no luck. Stuck in the middle of nowhere, the green car never shows up again and now I don't really want to play anymore.

I just wanted to get my car to the shop, but it turns into this huge ordeal which involves everything but getting to have fun with the car I build.

i take the car to the repair and drive the muscle slow in gear 2... its most difficult to drive so slow and take the 2 instead of D

i play since release and NEVER had to tow a car.. i read some outdated tutorials and have no clue about cars and got it running on first try... if its frustrating than.. its not your game or you have no patience

amazing game yes i have taken time to get my setup working but great now on my G920 one of my all time favorite early access games. I loved Jalopy but this is way better for me.

Nothing to do with patience, I got my car running aswell but that's not the point. I just end up spending the majority of my time trying to get a car ouf of a ditch or unflip a vehicle that flipped over in some glitches manner, even the car I was repairing ended up on the roof of my house when I tried to push it, restarted a few times because items fell through the map aswell.

Plenty of patience but I don't want to spend majority of my time doing something else than what the purpose of the game is.

i can understand your feelings, i just alt-f4 quitted three or four times:
stuck next to the road, lost items in the ground, flipped or demolished my car just by standing next to it.. frustrating is just the right word.
but hey, its EarlyAccess, and this means: unfinished and packed with bugs.
maybe you can still find some fun in it, or come back to it half a year later.

BTW dont try jalopy right now, its even more bugged and most of the gamers experience constand crashes.

if you like towing cars, try "Spintires" instead. No bugs, nice graphics, its all aout driving and towing :D

It is mostly frustrating the first 15 hours. But when you really get the hang of how to survive, it gets better. Way better.

i have to add one thing.. since the release of steam i did not have any major bugs.. yea the car on the dirt road can be annoying but do you know... you can make a backup of the last saved game and restore it if it did not work..
I dont know what you expected.. its a life simulator... i cant build a car in real life and drink beer all day or sµck poop out of a meeeega poop pipe... and you have to drive carefully.. yea.. but i can drive around 50 till 100 on dirt roads depending of the corners etc.. its patience, trying, learning.. if you dont want something that seriouse try car mechanic 2016

Yep, agreed. Really helps once you get into the way the games mechanics work and you start enjoying work and the reward of collecting your hard earned car parts etc, it really does get better the more you play it ;)
