I've opened door, ran through 10 different corridors, opened fridge with bodyparts, and in the end just walked out of the room. what the hell? There's gotta be something special.

I was wondering about that myself. There wasn't any resolution to all those hallways and what you experience in them. Clearly, we are mean to believe the character entered someone's mental landscape, but how? Walking through a door wouldn't do that. He literally has to jack into their brain chip for situation like that.

Ok just figured it out myself. I think we might have a big P.T. reference here. I consider it an easter egg (and a damn good one) :)

It is exactly that, the reference to P.T.
Had the same feelings when I opened the first door.

Just played this. It's totally an homage room. First, the whole thing is like PT, then there's a Layers of Fear painting on the wall, then the fridge screams. (I think I am literally the only person to recognize this because I googled it and got zero results.) When you are on like the 5th pass through of the hallway, there is a fridge on the left where there are usually the set of teacups. I opened the fridge and there was a ton of screaming inside. Only it's literally all the soldier death screams from the original Command and Conquer all playing randomly at once. It made me laugh so hard. If you have played the original Command and Conquer you will totally recognize it. Especially the scream when a unit walks through a field of Tiberium and spontaneously combusts. It's basically a Wilhelm Scream. But yeah, this had to be a gag.

so yeah, walked into this room also, eventually found the fridge, kept walking. in the end, i walke through another version of the door with the hangers on the left, only this time i led me back to the original entrance. and then.... i fell through the floor and never stopped falling. everything is black, there is nothing down here. i think i have to restart this sequence. i see no way out?

Coming out of the room and it being pointless is normal.

Falling through the floor is a bug and I think it happens if you backtraced your steps at some point.
