i found a video randomly recommended and now i remember this game as one of my first pc games. what i saw was just as good as the nostalgic memories suggested. thing is that the price is a bit hefty for something of that age. i'd rather pay more and have this look up to date. does something like it exist? did they ever remake it?...

like historically start with english bombing run on german civilian targets months prior to the Reich doing any bombing runs on civilians? historic accuracy is what i´m missing from all these hero simulators.

Hi all. So great to see EAW after about 20yr gap for me. One of my childhood faves. Does anyone have any tips for any general mods to get, specifically working with the latest Steam release, on windows 11? In particular - graphics/FX, extra planes, maps, etc. But nothing too complicated to set up! I'm also wondering if anyone ever made a mod that let you crash land, instead of just being blown to smithereens. That was literally my only true issue with the game, even back in 1998. Alex...

The game is really great! Controls are easy and it is fun to play. However After playing a while in career mode i cannot continue. At a certain moment (after approx 10 missions) the game hangs en shutsdown back to desktop. If i startup the game, load the career, same thing happend. If i start a new career, all is fine... however after a few missions its happening again... Any advice????...

So this has the same problem that the GOG version had. I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 stick, and no matter what I do the stick just spins and spins the plane and never seems to work. I can't find any calibration options either. Has anyone had any success with this problem? Thank you....
