The release has moved from October to Q4 to a totally unknown date in 2025, not even a quarter estimation, which honestly sounds more like a hope than a plan. At this point it's clear that something has gone seriously wrong. This is a good dev and SoR1 is fantastic so I have faith. I can only speculate at what we're not being told that could have thrown things this far off schedule.

If you had actually bothered to watch the devlog video included in the post, you would already have your answer as to why game has been delayed as much as it has.

what a disappointment. i was looking forward for the game to release this month. all these delays made me lose interest.

Would you rather the game be rushed out in a 'less than ideal' state to meet just to meet a prior date, or would you rather it be pushed back and given the necessary time to get it into its best possible state for early access?

Jesus, some people really need to develop a sense of patience.

As we've seen in the past with Dwarf Fortress, Caves of Qud, Minecraft, and so many other games, making a full game with procedural generation takes a LONG time. You've got this, my guy. The longer the game takes to be completed, the more feature-rich it will be, and it will all be worth it in the end. :annaBlush:

希望可以加大一些难度以及可玩性。一代把把速通当市长,通关之后就不想玩了。I hope more difficulty and more playable and more balance than I

As a fellow dev who’s also released a game on Steam - don’t let the haters bring you down. Every game has them; they’re part of Steam, but they’re only a loud minority. People won’t review bomb you for delaying a game, but they will if you release something unfinished and full of bugs. Good luck, and I’m looking forward to the sequel!

Appreciate the transparency and honesty. As I said before most people probable know the game's done when it's done. We know game development takes time especially when it's a indie game.

Only criticism I would have would probable avoid reading 95% of commentary involving this game is insane knowing the internet. You've done good work already. Sleep and time with family is important for a good game also. We can wait.

Thanks for all the hard work.

Happy Holidays and Solstice Season! Thanks for the update!

Are we going to see you on BlueSky very soon?

Look forward to both SoR2 and seeing you there! Take care!

Games take as long as they take, or they get shoveled out like Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky.

Cook, cook (especially since I'm broke right now, hah)..

I don't want to play it now, I wanna play it when it's done and I can wait. SoR1 is one of my favourite indie games ever made and I'm looking forward to whenever I can play the sequel as it looks great.
