Long story short: the vampire 'bite' attack is seen more as going into a house uninvited than an attack.

Which leads to the strange position where you can go into a house and drain someone while everyone else watches and acts like it is an inconvenience

my suggestion: fix it so it counts as equal to punching a person to others witnessing it)

Actually most people don't care if you punch someone. It's not that the bite isn't upsetting enough, it's that NPC's don't know how to recognize a serial killer / genocidal maniac and act appropriately.

"Wow, that gorilla just killed the entire police department, and that bar full of people!"
"You think we should run?"
"Nah, we're too poor to be targets, clearly."
"But don't you have 23 go-"
*gorilla fisting noises*
"Ok goodnight man, see ya tomorrow!"

I mean moreso the bite should register 'bad behavior' each tick. Or register some kind of response. Half the quests are easily completable by the vampire by just casually strolling in and biting someone
