Infinite Nuggets for speedrunning
Is there a way to unlock all the traits and items quickly? I'm interested in doing some speedruns and might want to skip the nugget farming process for myself and a friend.

Just wondering. https://www.speedrun.com/Streets_of_Rogue#any
Thanks!

I've been considering what to do about that, it's a tricky thing because I don't want to just give people a mutator where the game works like normal but everything is unlocked. Not sure the best way to handle it just yet.

Thx for the swift reply. Understandable. Maybe some sort of beta branch type thing in steam? I don't really have a great recommendation as of yet either sorry.

having the option to cheat at my fingertips would probably make me cheat 90% of the time, i'd prefer if it was something like an external option you had to edit in notepad or something in the game files that would do so but disable achievements and stuff

You could make a speedrun mode where everything is unlocked, but there's a time limit on each floor that's easy to beat if you are speedrunning, but might get you every once in a while if you're playing regularly. If the timer runs out you die. This would discourage people from using it as the normal way to play, but would also give speed-runners a full-access mode.

Maybe i'm old but how about a cheat code?

Since it's cheating and all... Also disable achievements and maybe make the game revert to the old save file on start up so they have to re-enter it every single time they want to use it, I guess you could delete or overwrite their progress with a warning if your feeling spicy though.

Wouldn't it be more beneficial to have a npc in the HQ where you can speedrun the game?
