SoR not working on my laptop (with AMD HD 7520G)

I cannot start SoR on my laptop at all: all I see is a small white window with a character holding a red exclamation mark titled 'Streets of Rogue - Unity' and some numbers. It is working fine on my main computer.

I have reverified the files, set to run as Administrator, set the dual graphic system to run SoR with maximum performance... I am out of ideas.

I did read it and tried the solutions, I will go over them again.

Unfortunately, nothing works. One thing that I have noticed: TechSettings.dat was not present at all and the Streets of Rogue folder in Documents does not get recreated after renaming.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a common error with older AMD cards trying to run Unity games. The error.log lists: aticfx64.dll caused and Access Violation. Many players have reported such problems, but none of the listed solutions work for me.

I think I have tried any solution available on the Internet and finally what worked was something rather counterintuitive: I have forced the game to run on the weaker of the two graphic chips, the 'desktop' one. It is not ideal, as its performance is rather poor compared to the 'gaming' chip, but at least it works... And it shows it is the 'gaming' chip that was the problem.

I can provide the developer with the relevant error logs, if he is interested.
