Every Melee Perk I think deserves the top spot. Especially "Floats Like a Butterfly". This is my opinion of course, but I think if you encounter this perk, you should pick it every single time. Not only it boosts your Melee skills quite effectively, it also gives you a pretty significant Speed boost. Even if you are going for a Pacisift run(ex. playing as The Doctor), the Speed boost it gives you can get you out of any situation with ease.

After "Floats Like a Butterfly"; Melee boosting perks are pretty handy like "Knuckley", "Long Lunge" etc. but again, if you are a pacifist or going stealth, these aren't that important. The second best perk I would consider to be is "Friend of the Common Folk". You really don't need any explanation for this. It's just an amazing perk.

Clumsiness Accepted is one of the few universally good traits for any class. People tend to forget that blowing up a wall or smashing up an office plant will trigger everyone in the building. This prevents that. It's also a god send on the active bombs disaster.

The other is a rival between Longer Status Effects and Nimble Fingers, since both affect some of my favorite classes.

If it's very early, Studious is helpful. Don't bother if it's late, unless you're playing Endless.

"Friend of the Common Folk", "G-P-Yesss" are generally quite useful. "Graceful" is pretty useful; it's not just for avoiding floor hazards in strongholds, but also for being able to run around on Park w/o carelessly inflicing damage + Slow on yourself while fleeing a group of several axe-wielding cannibals. "Lasers Ignore You" is somewhat less useful than "Graceful", but still potentially handy esp. if you're playing with time limits and you're not a hacker build.

If you already have FotCF, or are running a build that relies upon allies (gang-bangers, comedians, cops, etc), "No In-Fighting" might be of interest. It's utterly worthless for solo-style builds, however.

"Nimble Fingers" for the most part doesn't make much of a difference, but is pretty handy if you're playing the Cop character or any custom character with Handcuffs ability.

"Slippery Target" is useful for combat-heavy builds, not so much for pacifists.

i think you should pick trait depending on what characther you are using but some trait like slippery target, clumsiness accepted, blend in nicely, lonelyness killer and studious are alwais good.
some suggestion are
hacker: nimble finger
cop: nimble finger and studious
zombie:floath like butterfly
jock: clumsiness accepted
zombie and werewolf: fast melle floats like butterfly
shapeshifter: modern warfare
gangster (both): studious
doctor: lonelyness killer

It depends heavily on your class, yeah. Nimble Fingers is amazing for a cop or hacker, but pretty weak for anyone else.

Assassins really benefit from extended status effects (since it makes their invisibility last longer.) I believe Werewolves benefit from this as well, although I don't play them much. Assassins also benefit from Clumsiness Accepted because of their tendency to smack people through wells.

Cops benefit from No In-Fighting and Class Solidarity because of how common cops are in general.

Any minion-based class benefits from No In-Fighting and Infectious Spirit (and Team Building Expert, although most already have that.)
