Cannot play!
Stuck at "Protip" screen when i start the game? What the hell is this?!

Delete your techsettings.dat file. Failing that, rename the Streets of Rogue folder in My Documents. You can copy your unlock files and stuff back in when the game creates a new folder.

Specifically what happens before this appears? Did you start a new game from the main menu? Have you been able to play the tutorial? Does the game crash? What loading percentage does it reach?

It does not reach a percentage. When I launch the game it shows this [imgur.com]. I tried reinstalling, verifying game cashe, everything

do i have to backup my files when i delete techsettings.dat file? or only in the other option?

No, techsettings.dat doesn't include your unlocks or saved games.

Alright, the deletion of techsettings didnt fix it but the renaming did, I didnt even lose my progress. Thank you!
