Is there any way that we could get buttons to command our followers around? I'd love to have them all attack something without having to walk up to one.

This has crossed my mind several times. It would be really helpful with a hotkey that allow us to change the orders of all current followers at once. Especially duing chaotic moments or scenarios where they all need to act quickly.

It would require 3 different settings..
Passive - Do nothing unless told to.
Defend - Automatically attack anyone attacking the player.
Aggressive - Attack anyone in sight.

It could be assigned to one or three keys, doesn't really matter. But overall I think it would greatly improve the experience of having followers around.

I second this. More control over followers would make certain characters like Gorilla and Zombie much less awkward to play.

Set one button as a command and when you clicked it options will rise up just as talking to them. You can change a follower to order just by clicking command button again.

Even the input of when you press a joystick down is bound? I don't think it does anything currently

In most games followers or companions are controlled with the directional pad controls them. But if those are the 3 commands it could be assigned to a single key on a controller.

But I hope Attack Everyone is really Attack all people who are aggro to the player.

is it possible to make this a right click ability (or item) for gangbanger and make it only able to command "all" follower (all stand guard/all attack/all follow me) as a long length communication?
