Do these do anything yet? Considering that the game is near release, I figured that they surely must, but after a number of times trying them, they either have no function, or they do something I cant figure out yet.

If they dont do anything yet, it's probably a good idea to remove them for now. Having something in the game that does literally nothing would seem very out of place in a full release. Particularly something deemed as important enough to show up on the map.

They have no useful features as of Alpha 68 (Alpha 69 is out tomorrow). The only thing they do is gib all your followers if you offer a sacrifice at the altar.

Functionality is actually being removed for 1.0 since it didn't do anything, though I'll likely come back to them after the game launches.
