I think I hate Vampires now

Finally got my Comedian to Mayor City, cracked some jokes with the current Mayor hoping to have him give me the hat without a fight, didn't work. Okay, I have +1 Electability so I'll just take the legal win. Went to the government clerk, put in my application, waited in the park for that sweet win, and as the clerk was about to step into the park grounds to announce my victory

An ♥♥♥ naked vampire came at him full sprint and sucked out all his juices until he was reduced to gibs on the ground. I couldn't even do anything except stand there, astonished at what was unfolding before me (and I didn't want to risk making the mayor's supercop team hostile either). I've had my fair share of unlucky losses in this game, but I don't think I've been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over quite like this.

You can always quit to main menu to restart the level when stuff like that happens.

This is the reason why I love this game and you could've prevented that by waiting, killing or manipulating the vampire in a way so the vampire would not have been able to suck the clerk.

I hate thieves for this same reason. If you have grenades on you and a thief poaches them, say goodbye to those grenades. Those assclowns will use them on you as they run away.

I always kill/knockout vampires and thieves on sight. I hate when a thief picks your pocket, freaks out and punches you when you're on a slither of health left.
