Gamepad issue - can move, but can't stop moving
I'm using a Logitech F310 controller, but can't for the life of me figure out how to properly calibrate it so that I stop moving. I figure it's something to do with the deadzone setting, but nothing I've tried works.

I had a look at the links to do with Controller Templates, but I got lost trying to find a file or something to use - there's nothing there except explanation after explanation about things that don't seem related, more like it helps the dev than it helps the player? It's a bit above my head at that point. Is there an .ini I can edit? What do I do?

Help :-)

Did you try adjusting the dead zone setting on the gamepad bindings screen?

Yes - "I figure it's something to do with the deadzone setting, but nothing I've tried works."

I haven't played the game in several months, but last time I played it, with the same controller on the same PC, I didn't have any issues.

Have you tried unplugging other controllers if you have them plugged in? (or even keyboard, I've heard reports in the past of that affecting things).

I don't have another controller plugged in, but selecting keyboard to play with works fine... I guess I'll use that if the alternative is to unplug my keyboard. That doesn't sound right.
