Amazingly you're the first person to mention this to me. I always thought it was one of the most memorable moments in the game :p

That and the weapon mods are obvious nods to Deus Ex. I think the "multitool"-esque hacking and lockpick mechanics resemble GOTY the most, a game that still blows modern games out of the water day in day out.

They remade it in the Human Revolution too! You're in good company :)

It's really amazing how you were able trying to abstract out these gameplay ideas of immersive sims and procedurally generate them meaningfully. I've got the game, but its so tempting to keep playing it before I get to see the full product.

Great move on the free weekend too. I got my friends to try multiplayer with me and I was convinced by what I saw to buy it(discount helped too). I dunno if you're planning to do so, but I think a 4-pack might do well too.
