What I meant was: No, it's not just you, as you said it's very noticable and it's intended to be.
The Dead Parrot Sketch, an awful lot of sentence fragments, asstrumpets in the heaven level, and so much more is a straight up nod to Monty Python, with no intention of masking it.
So, the point was: You have to notice it if you know Monty Python,
I instantly knew it is Monty Python when I saw the first screenshot. It was Afterlife, and I recognised the "butt-trumpet", or are those clarions?
