How to unlock Postal dude?

Well, I don't really know how you do unlock him. But I can say with confidence how you DON'T unlock him. Some people claim they got him through an Instant Argument on By the Lake.

• Not through Tournament Mode (tried all characters save for Sam, nothing).
  
• Not through getting a high enough score with one insult (if not 49 and 84, it likely won't be anything).
  
• And not through a certain amount of insult exchanges (did it in 4, no luck).

There are rumblings that there's a certain trigger phrase to unlock him (I made a post on the matter a while before you. "You/probably murdered/this poor man", they told me). I, sadly, can't test that right this minute. However, do give it a go. I'd love to know, too.

ey, i found that out about the line! :P but ye wondering if that is the trigger

For me he unlocked simply when I finished a tournament with Serious Sam. Who, for some reason was flagged as the only character with an unfinished tournament, even though I did complete it with him before. On the other hand, Albert was registered as complete, even though I haven't used him before...
Well, the point is, that Postal Dude got unlocked when I finished the tournament mode with all previous characters, although I can't tell if it was that what unlocked him.

Heh, yeah, you were. But sadly it doesn't seem to have done the job. Not on insult on a couch, anyway (the only way I could actually get that sentence together).

It looks like the way to unlock him to either:

• Win 4 online games.
  
• Or win an online game after completing Tournment Mode with every character.

I played my fourth online game after completing Tournament Mode and that did it.

i didnt have to do either, so that is certainly not the trigger. so i once again believe it will likely be a specific line or something, lets keep experimenting folks ^^

Ugh, the plot thickens... I guess I got a little caught up in my excitement of it finally paying off. Mind you, I deleted my progress.json before doing all of that so I'd have a blank slate (and ended up figuring out how to unlock Serious Sam in the process), so I guess the story would be different for others.

I unlocked him after an instant insult against a bot. I picked Lovecraft, lake and my opponent was The Father. I've achieved a landslide victory in a few turns (can't remember how much exactly, I'd say around 4-5, constantly using combos and exploiting his weakness. Pretty sure all my insults were above 15. Pretty sure I used "probably murdered" once without "this poor man" or "you".

I have to say that it'd be nice just to have him from the get-go. I understand adding replay value, but I've played the lake at least a dozen times now AND tournament 4 times and still no Dude. I was expecting him to just be there like Lovecraft.

I just tried "You/probably murdered/this poor man", got nothing.

I finally got him after an "on the couch" match with Father. No special insults, did as much damage as I could, character was Lovecraft and map was the lake.

Edit: Oh, and one more thing: Only took three points of damage the whole match when I picked a wrong option.

I went ahead on "Insult on the Couch" and followed what Every Day Is a Night did, I recieved the postal man immediately without warning. I used "Probably Murdered/ This Poor Man" during the arguement. Hope this is helpful
