Cant get full screen? Read this.
Your monitor is at an resolution higher then the game was made for. The only solution is to lower the resolution to 800x600. Only then will you get the correct resolution for the game and fill the screen in a 4:3 format.

Okay, why should I have to do that? I should be able to resize the window on the fly.

The game is designed for old low resolutions. Not intended to go higher. So you cant resize as you wish. So if you want to play this and fill the entire screen then you have no option as far as I know but to lower your desktop resolution to 800x600.

It worked! Thank you so much. I could just return it back to the original display resolution when not playing the game.

FIRST OF ALL, I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION

You have to go to the Nvidea Control Panel first. Then you have to click on the Manage 3D Settings tab. Here you have to ACTIVATE the scaling when focusing the images!
NVCP >> Manage 3D settings >> (Globally)Image Sharpening [No Sharpening, GPU scaling on].

After turning on the GPU scaling the game switch the resolution successfully to 640x480 and you can play the game flawlessly! You don't need to change the resulution manually, it will scale it automatically by starting the game to the right resulution. Then you are quitting the game, your resolution will automatically go back to your usual resolution like 1920x1080px.

Thanks so much, Warstorm!!! Since Huntsville, Prime Suspects, and Madame Fate also share the small screen issue, this fix has been super helpful.

tried this, and no mater what i can't seem to get it to work, could me having two displays have something to do with it?

I get mine on a second display only, using 1600 x 900 resolution, and it is played in full screen, but it converts the picture automatically and when closing the game it goes from the 800 x 600 back to the full size automatically (Win 11) - I have 2 screens but only display the desktop on the second at the moment anyway
