Yeah, I can agree with that. I had the AI for the Bigfoot go haywire and keep attacking me even though it was daytime, when the Bigfoot should not have been attacking me.

For me he attacked on the second night, got stuck somwhere and me and my friend literally killed it with a knife..

Basically here is a guide on how I kill bigfoot due to this Ai.
1. As soon as you load into the game gather everything outsite of and in the trailer. By that time it is night 1.
2. Since bigfoot doesn't attack on night one (unless you run directly into him, only happened to me one time out of 5 matches I played so far) just go around and loot everywhere you can.
3. by the time of night 2 (were bigfoot attacks) you should have enought ressources to fight him on that night. Tip: Bigfoot will find you no matter what you do or how well you hide so...
4. go and find a house (any will do)
5. Place 1-3 cameras near the house, so you can watch the front door or the village depending where you are. (You don't need this step if you don't want to use cameras, it is however recommended)
6. Place a bear trap at the front door/ the entrance of the building you are hiding in.
7. Place explosives nearby if you have some.
8. cover up the windows of the house, turn of the light, close the front door and most importantly don't stand near the windows so you avoid useless damage. (You don't have to do this but bigfoot then wastes more time of the night trying to locate the house you are hiding in)
9. equip a gps tracker spear if you have one. (not needed but helpfull)
10. wait for bigfoot to come (easier to know if you followed step 5)
11. wait for him to step into the trap at the entrance.
12. trow the tracking spear at him (same as step 9)
13. Shot him and deal as much damage as you can with everything you have.
14. when he runs of go back into the house and repeat until it is daytime (Bigfoot usually comes at least twice per night)
15. When it is day, just loot and gather ressources again.
16. Find a new house and repeat from step 5 until he is dead.

This is litterally how I killed him every time I played so far. Worked 5 out of 5 times.
