Bigfoot game settings???

My kids and I just played for the first time in quite a while and I see there have been a lot of changes. My question is how exactly do the settings affect the game? The settings are Bigfoot health, Bigfoot damage, and loot amount. Bigfoot health, I assume selecting 1 is the lowest health and 3 is the highest. Bigfoot damage, is this the amount of damage that bigfoot does to you or the amount of damage that you do to bigfoot? And lastly, the loot amount, I assume by increasing the number you increase the amount of loot. I would appreciate anyone that knows the answers to these questions could clarify them for me. The lower the numbers, the lower health Bigfoot will have. The second option I can provide no definitive answer to however it would appear that if you have lower numbers Bigfoot will do less damage. The third setting will give more loot while lower values will give less.
