Bigfoot questions?
Just got the game and it seems much different from what I expected. I don't see any way to hide from bigfoot at all and he is just constantly aggressive at night. Me and my best friend have had nights in this game where we just get attacked three times in a single night. This just keeps destroying us and we end up having no med kits by the end of a single night. It seems that there is no mystery and its just survive the onslaught every night if you even can. You can't even hide from him so the buildings have no point. He will instantly finds you no matter what. I don't want to just play by rushing the pictures and objectives. I feel like that just takes the exploring away and now im just rushing a clock before we run out of med kits and just die. I know there are many ways to just break the game. I realized he doesn't attack you at the tree house. You can also just use the ziplines until they break which we figured out on one of the aggressive onslaughts that led to my friends demise. Basically, im seeing this game as more of a rush the objective or break the game to win sort of thing. I'd like to play it legitimately for the thrill of it, but it looks a little dicey. So, any advice for us new players on what to do? We've tried traps, they don't really do much. Cameras at this point seem useless as he's there for two seconds then vanishes. We've tried the skull circle, but never get a chance to use it as we end up getting killed before being able to utilize it. Should we split up and make it harder for him to kill us both? We've been travelling together and maybe this is what's getting us killed faster. Like stated, want to play the game legitimately. It just seems to much to do.

I play single player. I run like hell all night long and loot where I can. Spend the day looting everything. When you get enough explosives stick em outside a door where you can shoot when bigfoot starts to smash his way in. If you don't have dynamite shoot him a few times then shoot the explosives (gas etc.) If you do have dynamite trigger it and open up with all you got. If his health is low you may kill him. If not you will get it low enough to have a chance next time.
Ziplines work as well take a couple shots then jump on, when he comes to the other side repeat.
The game has become very gamey :(

If you are finding it difficult, you can cheese the zip lines. Don't wait until Bigfoot is right next to you before you use them. If you do, Bigfoot will eventually break them. The trick is to take them back and forth and keep him running back and forth without ever actually getting to the zip line platforms themselves to damage them and break the zip lines themselves.

Even on the lowest loot level, there are around 11 med kits to be found. Bigfoot usually does around 50 health points of damage to every player per night. Once it does that much, he will leave you alone the rest of that same night. You can actually exploit this Bigfoot AI logic. If one of you has been damaged by Bigfoot for the 50 HP threshold I brought up before, Bigfoot will leave that player alone. If you have the other player that Bigfoot is now focusing on instead use the zip lines back and forth like I brought up earlier and have the player that Bigfoot already damaged stand between the two zip line platforms that the other player is using, Bigfoot will run right by that same player and you can blast away on Bigfoot when it does so each time.

So from what it seems with the health thing. There is a unspoken time limit to every play through. Especially since you almost can't escape him unless you use zip lines or the tree house glitch.

My favorite set up is crystal cave because big foot has no maneuvering room, straight foreword and straight backward. no side ways
