Ideas for alternate names for The Bigfoot Finders (Edit: The name has been changed since this was posted)

Alot of players, including myself really don't like the new name of this game and would prefer to see it associated with a different title. The comments section for the announcment is already coming up with some good alternatives. I did not see a discussion for this yet and feel that this would be a good place for anyone interested to offer name ideas for the developer Cyber Light to consider instead of the current name "The Bigfoot Finders" and hopefully one that is free from any copyright or trademark issues.

There are already some good ideas but Sasquatch Seeker or Seeking Sasquatch as suggested by cammando205 really feels like they would be a better fit for this game.

I think something along the lines of 'Cryptid Hunters' would be a better name in my opinion. It would leave room in the game for more than just a bigfoot/yeti creature if the devs were to ever choose to take the game in that direction.

I must admit that while I like Seeking Sasquatch and other suggestions BETTER than The Bigfoot Finders it still does not really speak to me as a long term solution. As for Cryptid Hunters its a good name (and still better than The Bigfoot Finders) but I feel that the real draw for me and many others for this game was the promise to hunt/ track Bigfoot exclusively and I am not sure I have any intererest in hunting anything but the foot man himself. I suppose if they gave you options to hunter other Sasquatch/ Bigfoot style creatures (Yeti, Ohio Grassman, Yeren, Skookum, Big Muddy and etc) perhaps even based on the map or area you are playing in I would be more comfortable with it.

I suppose Myth Hunters works with the idea that we are working with a team of individuals that are activley searching for Bigfoot but I can't shake the feeling that anytime you focus on a group of people searching for Bigfoot/ mythical creatures we get into a Scooby Doo style dynamic.

In retrospect I suppose it has been easy to find fault in the name of this game but far more challenging to find one that perfectly encapsulates what the theme is supposed to be. With all the documenteries that have been done over the years; In search of Bigfoot, The Legend of Bigfoot, Shooting Bigfoot and Finding Bigfoot and etc, the pool of non-tradmarked names seems to run pretty thin.

Now that I have given it some time to digest Seeking Sasquatch while still my favorite almost feels like some sort of personal ad a lonely lumberjack placed in a newspaper. I really feel some variant of The Search For Bigfoot or In Search Of Bigfoot would be really appropriate for this game.

Aha, well I was just thinking simple is better, but if copyrighted we must find "something completely different" ;-)
