Get rid of tracking bullets?

In my opinion, tracking bullets ruin the game.... the whole scariness and great part of the game is actually hunting him, checkin cameras, wondering and such. Its what makes the game great, knowing hes out there, seeing him, and hearing him, but not knowing where exactly he is. That is what makes it a great hunting/horror game....

What ruins the game is shooting him with a tracker, and you see him on the map for like five minutes. Instead of feeling like a horror surveillance game, it turns into the server turning into a massive charge chasing and gunning instead of hunting. It feels more like a WW2 game, and the Soviet commisioner told you to charge the Germans instead of feeling like a hunting horror bigfoot game..... it kills the horror and makes any strategy worthless.... he shows up at your camper once, plant a tracker in him, and you endlessly chase him the rest of the game....

Just my opionion, what do you think?

I think that features like the tracking bullets serve to make this game workable. I think the amount of people that *want* the long-running hours of gameplay involving lots of waiting and patience are going to be in the minority here. I think the best solution to this would be to add a difficulty mechanism, where the hardest difficulty would involve no tracking capabilities.

(i know that this thread is kind of old sorry XD) Ive played this game on another account with friends and in my opinion this game feels like a semi horror hunting game. you dont really know where he is until you find him from that point on it becomes a kind of hunting game. i mean the whole point of this game is to hunt bigfoot. i think that tracking bullets are some kind of a good mechanic. but i think that the tracker should not be visible on the onscreen minimap what makes them (for the time that they are active) a bit op. they should give the OPTION to tag him. like you have some kine of tablet where you can see his location, but during looking at the map you are completely vounerable or something like that. but other than that i dont think that they ruin the game :)
