How many people can i play with?

I have a group of 4 friends and we are looking for a good co-op game to play, is this good? How many players can be in a game?

The game is good by self and excellent with friends (Like every other co-op game) and at this point it's only a 3 player max per lobby. Next update in about a month will have 4 play support.
