Is the update coming to switch?

It has been over a week so I am just wondering if it is coming to the switch or if its just going to be xbox one and ps4 for consoles

Yes, all 1.5 updates will be coming to Switch. Builds will be submitted this week, and release will depend on each of the console owner's approval timelines. We will update when we have a better idea on when that will be.

Thanks for the reply! I saw in the news update that the builds were being submitted on the 23rd of last month so I figured the update would have hit by now if that was the case

I guess we will see. I have been checking daily but honestly I sort of just gave up on the idea of playing the update. Glad there has finally been an update but I am not gonna hold my breath

On November 5th they sent the update, it has only now been approved by all platforms, so they can now roll it out when those platforms agree is the best time
It took over a month, but it's now confirmed as approved.
Trust me though, 1.5 is worth the wait. Especially will the QoL improvements.
Sorry you've been waiting so long though, I advise you join the Discord if you want to be notified as quick as possible with the Release Date when it's agreed upon.

I check software updates on my switch every day so if I don't see it announced I will get a surprise when I check for the update haha. Thanks for the info. The wait isn't a huge deal. I have had other stuff to keep me busy. It is just really odd how long it took. I have followed many games that have needed to go through approvals for console updates and this is by far the longest wait with very few updates in between. I do look forward to trying the update though whenever it drops now that whatever was causing the delay has been resolved

Confidental Developer/Publisher and Platform nonsense I'd assume, but it's hopefully not a running issue from now on.
