We are very happy to finally get full control of the publishing rights of Flat Heroes. After a lot of discussing we have decided to bring the price of our game on par with other platforms (9.99$). We think that the new price will still be very fair for the scope of Flat Heroes and it will give us a tiny bit more room to work on projects to come.

The adjusted price will come into effect earliest August 1st 2019. We wanted to give you a quick shout about this upfront so you still have the chance to buy the game at the current price if you want to.

After reading some feedback from the community, we made a small update to add a few launch options (to enable them go to Steam, right click on Flat Heroes > "Properties" > "Set Launch Options", and write the commands you want to use, without the ' ):

'-disableGeometryShaders' : use it to go back to the more "flat" version, we prefer the new and improved style, but we won't judge you if you want the old one back :) - [NOTE: this is automatically enabled on low-end PCs]

'-show-screen-selector' : to see the launcher that lets you change the resolution and Graphics Quality

'-mouseButtonSupport' : a few users wanted the old mouse+keyboard control (where you attacked with the mouse), use this if you want the old controls back.

The day has come. Flat Heroes has finally been released. As you know we haven't updated the game since quite some time. We did this for a reason: To give you one massive update with tons and tons of content.

Flat Heroes has now over 300 Levels, 10 unique bossfights, daily challenges, more survival modes and tons of smaller bugfixes and adjustments. And we believe it was well worth the wait.

With all the new content, we hope you will enjoy Flat Heroes even more. And now: Go. Play. Become a true hero!

First of all, apologies for our absence these last months, we are completely focused on the final version with the aim of creating a bigger and more intense experience to satisfy all players, and is taking a bit more time than expected. We should be able to announce a release date with lots of new content soon!

For the time being we're going to start integrating Steam Achievements, but because of how Steam is set up the number of achievements we're testing is going to be public at all times and all we can do is set them as hidden.
So from now on you may see that Steam says Flat Heroes has a number of hidden achievements, but there will be no way of unlocking them until the final release.

Dear Community!

Well, where to start? First of all: Thanks for your patience. We know, it has been a while since we gave you some new stuff for Flat Heroes. It has been a while, since we kept you up to date. And we're sorry. But there have been really, really, really (like REALLY) good reasons for that. And today we can finally talk about what has happened recently.

First of all we would like to announce the release of an all new update today. Which comes along with lots of new features and lots of new content. So, what is new?

We have now included an all new survival mode. There are several levels available where you can try to survive as long as possible. We've got highscores, we've got plenty of challenges and heck, you can even tweet your scores right from within the game. And it creates cool gifs for Twitter, too!

That was tricky to include but we finally managed to do so. Yes, Flat Heroes now features Twitch integration. So if you have a Twitch channel and want to interact with your community, you can do that. It is a twist of the survival mode. And once you gave the game the needed infos, your viewers can vote on what should happen next in the level. And there's an exclusive leaderboard for Twitchers, too!

Of course, there's lots of other stuff. We've been tweaking and fixing days and nights. And Flat Heroes should now be even better. But you are still insecure, right? You still don't know for sure if you should buy it, right? Well! We've got a solution for that. There is now a demo available for Flat Heroes. Currently the demo can be found on Gamejolt and Itch.io. It will soon be up on Steam, too.

Yes. That's right. Flat Heroes is coming to Nintendo Switch. It's official now. And that is an incredible feeling. When? Somewhen. No date confirmed yet. But we can finally speak about it.
