Reload Speed Adjuster in unit creator
So thus far I have loved the unit creator but I have noticed a strange gap with the creator. when using guns you have the ability to adjust attack speed and in the discription it states that it also affects the reload time of the weapons. I have noticed however that it has the inverse effect. Using the minigun as an example (though it applies to all of the guns in the tabg faction), if you want to make it fire near non stop at a fast rate you would in theory increase the attack speed like any other weapon as that would make it shoot faster and also lower the reload time. What I have noticed however is that when you increase the attack speed it makes the gun shoot its bullets in faster succession as it should but then the reload speed is the same amount of time or longer than when the attack speed is set at the normal value of 1.
to put this in a battle scenario you could have a mini gun unit with a value of 50 attack speed and have it go against 40 farmers. it will shoot a lot faster than normal and wipe out the first one or two units, but then has to reload since the rounds have been used up. but then the reload time is the same (I believe its 8 seconds) time. so what ends up happening is the minigunner (or other gunner type) ends up just burning through ammo faster and hitting less targets and having more down time than actual fire time when it should be a non stop hose of bullets.
I do not know if I am doing something wrong, or if this is something that can be adjusted, but I was thinking maybe in the case of ranged weapons having the option to adjust how long the reload delay is and then have attack speed be a seperate value that controls how quickly the weapon shoots. that way you can have a slow gun that never needs to reload or a fast burst fire setup based on the type of unit you want to make.

Decreasing attack speed will work better with fast firing weapons like the Minigun, try that
we need more items, options and weapons on unit creator too :v

I agree that because of the current system and general aim of units slower tends to be more useful, but I do think that having some more general options to tweak and better configure units like that would be better so we can make some more advanced units. and it can add some more longevity to the unit creator as well. Also, I think its funny that this is starting to get comments again a year later lol

it's also kinda annoying that whenever I make a unit hold a pistol with one hand he always misses his shots. Any thoughts on how to fix this besides using two hands?

I know right! and in my experience, two hands doesnt help aim much, attack speed being shorter somewhat helps, but ive also noticed, that if you use slow motion camera while units are fighting, their aim gets 2-3 times better. which makes me think that they have their attack speed and aim ability attached to whatever the entire game speed is running at, which is odd
