My entire custom content library is gone ever since I downloaded TABS on my new PC.
I searched it up and I do not have a different hard drive on my PC and I see no way to transfer the files. Could anyone help?

My new "PC" is a laptop. Not sure since my dad bought it, but I don't think it would affect anything. Keep in mind I still have the old PC (which is actually a PC)

On my "old" PC right now. All the units are still gone aside from the ones I downloaded.

What the actual ♥♥♥♥? I just searched it up and they are ALL deleted. I must have put tens of hours into my work just for this game to delete it when I needed to free up space. What the ♥♥♥♥ landfall?

Yep. Landfall even got the FAQ wrong because my custom maps I UPLOADED to the workshop, infact, did NOT save. ♥♥♥♥ landfall.

Maybe Its not cloud?

Really sorry to hear that! Custom content is not saved in the cloud unfortunately, so if you switch computers your creations will not transfer automatically.

On your old PC, are you able to find your custom units if you check here?
Right-click on TABS in your Steam Library > Manage > Browse local files > TotallyAccurateBattleSimulator_Data > CustomContent > CustomUnits. Inside CustomUnits there should be one folder for each unit that you've created/downloaded, with a picture of the unit inside the folder - can you see your units here?

As for the maps you uploaded to the workshop, did you check here: Workshop > Browse > My Creations > Select the Maps tab at the top. Keep in mind you need to use the same Steam account on both computers for your workshop uploads to sync.

Redownloading the game currently after uninstalling it yesterday. I'll send an update in a bit.

Yes, my old units ARE there. But how do I get them back?

Do I transfer the units and maps somewhere?
Beth  [developer] Jul 22, 2024 @ 4:28am
You can transfer them either by uploading everything to the workshop from your old PC and then re-download editable copies on the new PC. Check the "My Creations" section in the workshop, again you need to use the same Steam account on both computers.

You can also manually transfer the CustomContent folder. Just put the entire CustomContent folder on a USB for example, then transfer the folder to the new PC (it should be put in the same location).

How do I manually submit them to the workshop since they don't appear in game?

The only way to upload something to the workshop is to do it in-game. If that's not working properly, transferring the CustomContent folder with a USB stick might be the only option.

How am I supposed to upload them in game if they don't show up (in local), and the only way you can is if you have clicked on the map/unit/campaign? The USB option is sadly not available to me either. Is there anyway I can drag the units I made manually into a specific folder where they will show up in game? Because in the folder the units image and the unit file (.unit) remains.
