How would that change the cost or not? It's already free to play on it's website, all you gotta do is sign up.

Except it's not that easy. You see, they won't send the game out to you unless you're press or a YouTuber. See it for yourself. The devs even said so themselves. So 404 is right: when the demand will be high, so will the price.
