Remote Play Together

I've used RPT on a couple of games before but my friend and I cannot figure out how to use it with TABS.

The RPT connection is clearly successful as my friend can see my display. Do we then play "Local"? If so, we could not work out how to enable a second player. If I choose "Friends", I have to invite someone but there's no RPT option. If I invite my friend from the "Friends" menu, it does send an invite but I just get "Waiting for Player" on the arena screen.

If anyone can tell me the correct way to use RPT, I'd greatly appreciate it.

You need to go to Local, but he needs to have a controller attached, or you need to have a controller attached so one of you can go ahead and play as Player 2. Remote Play Together is basically you just sharing your game to him like Teamviewer. When you invite him over through "Friends", you're just sending an invite to an online multiplayer match, not a local game.

@Bruce Halter. I take your point. However, as a M&KB user, I'm not sure how I can attach another "controller". It seems to make the concept of Remote Play Together impossible on PC because you can't play together! I shall follow @Napoqe's advice and contact game support. Cheers
